A chair circa 1920's France. Designed and made by Schmit & Piollet in Paris. The chair has a central circular seat which sits on feet and a back rest. The back rest has a right angle on one side and curved on the other. Typical of a modernist design which would have been quite a radical at the time. Newly upholstered in tobacco velvet and studs.
